This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for services booked through Book My Mandir.
1. Temple Darshan Bookings
1.1 Cancellation Timeline

1.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios
- No-show on the booked date and time
- Arriving after the scheduled darshan time
- Violation of temple rules or dress code
- Free darshan bookings (no fee charged)
2. Pandit Booking Refunds
2.1 Devotee-Initiated Cancellations

2.2 Pandit-Initiated Cancellations
If a pandit cancels your booking for any reason:
- You will receive a full refund (100%)
- We will assist you in finding an alternative pandit
- If alternative not available, refund processed within 5-7 business days
3. E-Commerce (Merchandise) Refunds
3.1 Return Eligibility
Products can be returned within 7 days of delivery if:
- Product is damaged or defective
- Wrong item was delivered
- Product packaging is unopened and intact
3.2 Non-Returnable Items
- Religious books (opened)
- Incense sticks and consumables
- Personalized or custom items
- Sale or discounted items (unless defective)
3.3 Refund Process
- Contact support@bookmymandir.co.in with order details and photos
- Wait for return approval (1-2 business days)
- Ship the product back to our warehouse (return shipping costs may apply)
- Refund processed within 7-10 business days after receiving the return
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Timeline
- Refunds are initiated within 3-5 business days of cancellation
- Credit to your account may take 5-10 business days depending on your bank
- You will receive an email confirmation when refund is initiated
4.2 Refund Method
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method
- For UPI/wallet payments, refund to source wallet
- For card payments, refund to the same card
- For net banking, refund to the source bank account
5. Exceptional Circumstances
5.1 Force Majeure
In case of natural disasters, temple closures, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control:
- Full refund will be provided
- Option to reschedule booking without additional charges
5.2 Technical Issues
If you are charged due to a technical error or double payment:
- Contact us immediately with transaction details
- We will investigate and process full refund within 48 hours
6. How to Request a Refund
- Open the Book My Mandir app or website
- Go to "My Bookings" or "Order History"
- Select the booking/order you wish to cancel
- Click "Cancel Booking" or "Return Item"
- Provide reason for cancellation (optional)
- Confirm cancellation
- Refund will be processed as per the policy above

7. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter by contacting support@bookmymandir.co.in with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. We will review your case within 3-5 business days.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
