Terms of service
Last updated: 2 August 2026
Contracting party
BookMyMandir is a product of XALEN Technology Private Limited. The contracting entity is XALEN Technology Private Limited, CIN U72900PN2024PTC230853, GSTIN 27AAACX6117C1ZL, with registered office at Pune, Maharashtra 411041, India. The full street address, formal notice channel and authorised signatory remain clearly marked founder-supplied placeholders on the company identity page. No paid checkout or subscription contract is offered through this site until the remaining particulars and approved commercial terms are published.
The service
BookMyMandir currently provides tenant profiles and BookMyMandir-path public pages, listings and booking-enquiry capture, a devotee register and channel consent record ledger, a temple-recorded donation ledger, a bounded CSV importer, purpose-specific plain-input forms, a configured-sender email workflow and date-level panchang reference fields. Every catalog capability carries an evidence state and its current limits on the tool catalog. Active-seat access limits are enforced independently of payment. Paid checkout, subscriptions, contact limits, paid seat entitlements, usage billing and prepaid credits are not enabled.
Temple forms
A verified temple may publish bounded plain-input forms and privately review responses. Each response is pinned to an immutable published revision and a displayed purpose and scheduled-expiry snapshot. A processing acknowledgement is not marketing consent. Forms do not create devotee records, send messages, publish responses, take payment, confirm bookings or trigger another workflow. Uploads, signatures, payment/bank/identity fields, health data, caste or gotra data and precise-location collection are not supported in this beta. Temples remain responsible for a lawful purpose, access, follow-up and any required notices.
Your data is yours
Subject to applicable law and agreements, a temple retains its rights in its devotee data, temple-reported donation records, non-statutory acknowledgements and message content. BookMyMandir claims no ownership in that content and does not use one temple's records to benefit another. A workspace owner can take one complete self-service archive of that workspace's own records, and can close the workspace without asking us. Closing retains records and is reversible for a stated period; it is not a deletion receipt. Erasure of an individual person's records is still handled through the privacy contact and applicable review process.
Offerings & donations
Where a temple account supplies an external payment link, payment happens outside BookMyMandir. We do not collect, settle or verify funds and take 0% of temple offerings. The temple remains responsible for the payment destination, settlement, receipts and legal eligibility. Software packaging, paid seat entitlements and provider-usage pricing are proposals, not active billing. Active-seat access limits do not prove a paid plan.
Messaging & compliance
The current email path filters and rechecks recorded email consent before provider submission, applies purpose-level suppressions, and requires an opaque preference link before an outreach message can be submitted. Recipient withdrawal is recorded in the consent ledger; purpose choices cannot grant channel consent. Provider acceptance is not inbox delivery. SMS and WhatsApp delivery are disabled. Temples remain responsible for lawful collection, uploads, content and use of contact data. No prepaid messaging-credit system is active.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to send unlawful, misleading or harmful content, or to impersonate a temple you do not represent. A free account may have an unverified tenant profile. A claim submission is only a request for manual review; it does not itself verify a temple, change claim status or guarantee account handoff.
Cancellation, refunds and termination
No self-serve paid checkout, subscription charge or prepaid credit purchase is active, so BookMyMandir currently collects no website payment that can be cancelled or refunded. Temple offerings use the temple's own destination and remain subject to that temple's terms. Any future paid software order must present its billing period, cancellation method, refund rule, termination effects and service commitments before acceptance. See the current cancellation and refund boundary.
Governing terms and liability
Governing law, forum, service levels, warranties, indemnities and any liability cap require owner and counsel approval and are not invented by this beta notice. A paid or enterprise order cannot be activated until the applicable written agreement supplies those terms.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms with notice. A named grievance officer and monitored grievance mailbox are not yet available. The first-party privacy-request form records an intake request, but it is not represented as a monitored statutory grievance channel and no response SLA is promised. Use the first-party contact form for general intake and review the vendor due-diligence disclosure before onboarding.
